Cigarettes, tobacco, drugs and alcohol are often cited as a major cause of birth defects. It is true! However, really only four hazardous substances above that could endanger the health of the fetus? It turns out (oh apparently) there are plenty of other dangerous substances. Here are some of them to be shunned by pregnant women.

Chemicals
1. Spray paint or paint thinner. Another alternative is better and safer is to use latex paint.

3. Phthalates are commonly found in dental fillings and also released when the plastic container is heated in the oven.

4. Fluorotelomers usually used to coat the popcorn bag oven, some types of carpets and furniture.

5. PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls), usually conceived of fish that live in areas contaminated water.

6. All types of pesticides.

7. Heavy metals such as mercury and lead.

8. Organic solvents such as toluene, xylene, benzene, tetrachloroethylene, ethylene oxide, acetone, acetonitrile (at a nail salon), and formaldehyde.

9. Excess radiation and radium, so stay away from the X-ray or fly by plane for a long time.

Food
1. Hotdogs and saturated fat, usually rich in nitrate and methylates DNA network that could release that should remain bound.
2. Trans fat.
3. High-fructose corn syrup.
4. Sushi, or various other raw meats.
5. Cheese or milk that is not experiencing the process of pasteurization.

Drug
